Grey stoneware, jade celadon glaze made from locally sourced materials

Height: ~5.5 cm

Diameter: ~14 cm

This wheel-thrown bowl has an elegant, classical form and is finished with a jade celadon glaze. The semi-transparent glaze has a soft, bluish-grey hue, with three small marks left by seashells from the Baltic Sea visible inside the bowl.

This particular celadon glaze is the result of many years of research. All the materials used in its making have been processed and refined by hand, resulting in a glaze with a noble, natural quality, reminiscent of ancient Korean celadons, yet with a distinct Polish character rooted in local materials.
