Stoneware, white feldspatic glaze with temmoku type glaze

The neck of this bottle is glazed with white feldspatic glaze and the body with temmoku type glaze. The colour of temmoku transitions from light olive to typical dark amber – it's a result of direct exposure to flame and ash in the kiln. This type of bottle is traditionally used for sake, but can serve as a vase as well.
