Stoneware, white feldspatic glaze

This small bottle features a white glaze composed of wood ash, reed ash and local feldspar. The characteristic texture occurs when the firing temperature is to low for this type of glaze. It's called ''kairagi'' in Japanese or ''shark skin'' in English, but in Poland most people call it ''baranek'' (lamb).
