This summer, we became part of "Continuum", a 16 mm film by Aleksandra and Julia Powalacz exploring materials, creative processes, and the ongoing transformation of matter. Presented during Paris Design Week 2026 as part of "The Matter of Earth", the film turns its attention to the textures, traces, and forces that shape materials long before they become finished objects. Our practice, rooted in local materials and the landscape, forms part of this broader reflection on matter, time, and our relationship with place.

On the occasion of the exhibition “Crafting Reality: In Search of Alternative Habitats“ in Valencia, the exhibition curator, Dr Alicja Głuszek, prepared a text exploring our practice. Written for the exhibition catalogue, the text offers a curatorial perspective on our work — our relationship with material, the importance of locally sourced materials, working with fire, and our references to traditional ceramic techniques. The exhibition “Crafting Reality: In Search of Alternative Habitats” is currently on view in Valencia as part of València Design Fest, with Poland as this year’s guest country. We are taking part in the exhibition, presenting, among other works, new sculptures from our Ostańce series. The exhibition brings together more than 60 works by 19 Polish artists and craftspeople, offering a broad perspective on contemporary Polish craft. The exhibition can be visited at PASAJE 94 until 31 October 2026.
