Stoneware, a green, transparent glaze based on local stone and ashes from different types of trees. Blue, opalescent effect occurs on one side and in the well of the bowl, where the glaze is thicker. This so-called "Jun" effect is caused by the same optical phenomenon as in natural opal. There is also an amber drop of melted ash near the foot.
